Alaskan Husky is the generic name given to an exceptional range of animals. Aboriginal peoples have used dogs in the north for centuries for packing, protection and companionship. These animals were mixed with breeds from 'outside' starting around the Klondike Gold Rush resulting in the world's greatest endurance athletes.
